Technical Resources – Test

ADMIN NOTE – Technical Resources

The Technical Resources card grids are generated from standard WordPress navigation menus named NM1, NM2, NM3…

Content and ordering: Manage the relevant NM… menu under Appearance → Menus. Menu items determine which resources appear, their order, their displayed card titles (Navigation Labels), and their destinations. Article titles and URLs do not need to match the card labels.

Bulk menu helper: The Code Snippets snippet “Taxing – Posts by Category Menu Helper” adds the Taxing – Posts by Category box to Appearance → Menus. It can bulk-add published posts from a selected category. Once added, they are ordinary WordPress menu items and can be reordered, renamed or removed normally.

Card generation: The Code Snippets snippet “Technical Resources Grids” converts a selected WordPress menu into cards using the shortcode .

Styling: The common card CSS is stored in Advanced → Custom CSS of the top-level Technical Resources Elementor container. It controls card dimensions, text wrapping, pale-blue background, orange border, shadow, spacing and hover movement. Do not duplicate this CSS in individual Shortcode widgets.

Layout: Elementor controls the rows, three-column desktop layout and responsive behaviour. The menus control the content; PHP renders it; CSS styles it.

Maintenance: To add a new Technical Resource, add the relevant post/page to the appropriate NM… menu and position it as required. No PHP or Elementor changes are normally necessary.
