This section seeks information on whether you are registered as resident with a Comune (municipality, town hall, local authority) in Italy or if you are registered with the AIRE (Register of Italian Citizens Resident Abroad (outside Italy). It asks for the date on which your registration was effective - this will generally be the day that you presented the request to be registered as resident (or shortly afterwards). It is not the date of issue of your Italian Identity Card which will be subsequent to the confirmation of registration.
